Event Committee

Do you love planning?  If you have a few hours a week (depending on the time of year) to give, our Event Planning Chairs would love your help organizing and supporting Impact100 Metro Detroit events.  Use your creativity to make events like The Big Reveal, Women of Impact Breakfast, and The Big Give extra special, and work with nonprofits to create new events that help them fuel transformation.  Help us keep members engaged and nonprofits growing!

Financial Review Committee

You’re a numbers person, and we have a committee for you.  Good stewardship of our members’ donations is of primary importance to us.  Help us analyze grant proposals from a financial perspective.  No formal training?  No problem!  We can give you all the information you need to contribute.

Grant Review Committee

Our biggest committee, and one of the most rewarding, the Grant Review team (with its focus areas – Arts & Culture, Education, Family & Individual Support, Heath & Wellness, Revitalization, Recreation & Environment) looks at the grant proposals we receive, helping to determine which ones fit most closely into our giving guidelines.  This team has picked the best proposals to advance as finalists, and many of those finalists went from receiving our grant to garnering national recognition.  Be a part of the action!

Marketing and Public Relations Committee

Are you into media – social or otherwise?  Do you like creating graphics and eye-catching headlines?  Are you a communicator?  The Marketing and Public Relations Committee is looking for creative individuals who love helping to connect people and organizations.  There are many opportunities for those who would like to help us share our Impact100 Metro Detroit message with the whole community.

Membership Cabinet and Committee

This committee drives the strategy, activities and outreach for membership engagement, retention and growth.  Each committee member selects a strategic area of focus such as support for activities, corporate and sponsorship outreach, and individual member recruitment.  Among the activities we support via the committee are the Impact100 MD book club, coffee and conversation events, happy hours, and our fall signature Women of Impact event.

Nonprofit Relations Committee

Do you want to take your support of nonprofits to the next level? The Nonprofit Relations Committee serves as Impact100MD’s biggest cheerleader for our nonprofit partners. We not only support nonprofits that have applied for or received our grant by shepherding them through our process, we also offer a platform for all local nonprofits to connect with our members and the community at large, and to form partnerships with one another to increase their reach.
